THANKS FOR CHECKING IN ☻

Our back yard is open seven days a week starting on Thursday, April 1. Covid safety precautions will be in place, including safely distanced seating and a reservation-only system. We’ll also keep the fire pits roaring and most tables heated for the cooler spring days and evenings.

The kitchen will serve ramen and other Japanese comfort food, and the bar will have all kinds of drinks, warm and cold. Starting April 2nd, we’ll have DJs playing listening tunes on the weekends, and starting on April 5th, we’ll bring back our Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday-night outdoor film series curated by Yulan SHYBOI Grant and Gabriele Caroti.

KEEPING OUR DOORS OPEN: VIRTUALLY NOWADAYS ☻

For Nowadays to make it through the pandemic, we continue to rely on your help. Please support us on Patreon. Right now we’re covering around 45% of our monthly expenses through Patreon. It’s a lifeline that gives us hope to fully reopen once we are through the pandemic, but we need more help to get us closer to covering all of our expenses. Your support means everything.

In return for your support, we’ve uploaded over 150 mixes, classes and skillshares to our Patreon, and we’re offering access to limited runs of merch. We also upload one mix, class or skillshare each week and broadcast once a week on The Lot Radio. Follow us on Instagram for the schedule. We also encourage you to sign up for our email list at the bottom of this page. We send most updates to the list first.

We’ve also set up a Nowadays Staff Help Venmo to support the bartenders, safer space monitors, bar backs, security guards, DJs and other workers who have been hit hard by this crisis. Whatever you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
